LOL - what I was trying to say was are you finding the clothes in these stores unattractive or the layout and look of the store unattrative.
trust me, I don't get close enough to an ugg store to really get a good feeling of their layout/look. Walking through the streets of soho this past weekend and being optically abused by all the ugly pairs walking very slowly around on tourists feet was enough to reaffirm that i hate those shoes. -

Gotcha - I totally agree with you I think they make your feet look goofy - but my niece requested them for her birthday and since she give me free babysitting - she gets whatever ugly shoes she wants

they're acceptable on anyone under the age of 15. 16-18 and you're pushin it. 18+ and theres an intervention required. -

I'm on my second pair of Uggs (and am far from a teenager). They keep your feet toasty warm and you don't even wear socks with them

I do hope they serve an orthopedic function.
I'm not really one to talk about trends though as I'm still stuck in the late 90s in pretty much every possible fashion-related way. -
No orthopedic function :-), but the Ugg Ultimates have more support and better traction (although they are not meant for snow). But it can be 0 degrees out and my feet stay warm
-
I have to weigh in on the negative side for uggs ( or uchs!).
The warmest boots I have are Santana..lined with sheepskin or some kind of pile. They can be worn without socks. Quite expensive but worth it. They were made in Canada but like so many things are now made in China so don't know if this season's selections are up to the older quality. I know that City Casuals on 7th ave carried them and probablt still do. They have a great selection.
And now I have to say.. I don't own City Casuals or work there or anything. -
You do know that the name Uggs is because they're ugly. But I really do love them...and I don't think they're ugly :-). I also find them very comfortable
-
I think they're ugly as heck, besides every other person is wearing them. They are the winter version of crocs to me. Two ugly trends.
-
i'm not supporting (or not supporting) uggs, but they do have a million other styles that don't look like the typical brown bulky things.
just fyi. -
is that store open yet?
service at something else stinks--i liken it to one of those places on lower broadway in manhattan. lots of variety; not much quality. -
I've passed the store on the bus...and it looks like a shoe store that happens to carry Uggs...i don't think they're an ugg store
-
I went in there this past weekend. They carry other brands besides Uggs. They even had a baby pair of Uggs, not that I would buy them if I had a baby. but still so cute!
Howdy, Stranger!
