Where to sled

Tarzian's has them, I think.

I saw someone purchasing one at save on fifth about 45 minutes ago. It was a crappy plastic one and was around $15 i think.

Sweet. Thanks. I look forward to seeing everyone that's hung-over from the various Festivus parties sledding at the park this weekend.

of course I've been waiting for sledding weather for 2.5 years and finally the weekend comes...and I'm going to visit family in texas (also for the first time in over 3 years.) Stupid global warming.

Those rollup sleds are the best -- thickish plastic, slick, rolls up like a yoga mat. Plastic kiddie sleds work best if you're 45 lbs . . .
(I got mine at a hardware store.)
The two hills leading to the main meadow off GAP are the usual spots but I'm sure there's more dastardly paths in there somewhere. -
Try Models. I like Snow Tubes myself.

The Parks department is holding some sort of hot chocolate and sledding event in Prospect Park (near PPW/9th, Tennis courts). Perhaps they're renting sleds?
