So, I will try you later tonight, or more than likely tomorrow sometime.
Think we're going to watch "Tropic Thunder" tonight - hoping it gives a
few laughs. I'm tired. I was up until 3am - all by myself (well with
Faith and Frasier). Then people 'informally' looked at house today
(unexpected, so I was running around crazy straightening shit up).
And now someone else is coming tomorrow at 4PM. So let's see
what happens.
JANET - I mentioned "marley and me" at dinner table and all my
animal-loving friends shouted at the same time 'don't go see it' So
you are far from alone in your reaction. I'm disappointed, I had been
looking forward to seeing it - guess I'll try "hollywood dogs" looks cute.
SUZIE - To answer a question you had on one of these pages. Frank had a blockage last year (didn't know it) and when they went to put in stint, it was blocked 100%, so they put one in the other side to help circulation. Now that's the one 'that didn't take' We'll know more on Wednesday after consultation.
Don't worry about your son. Visualize all good things and put angels all around him... I know, easier said than done. Hope you got to spend some time with mom and dad, and they're making the most of each day.

He doesn't have (nor did) have any symptoms. He's a skinny guy who eats only healthy foods. 140 lbs for his entire adult life (not fair). They found this during a routine stress test follow-up this week. He's pretty much on top of things, health-wise - always getting physicals. Bad genes (his mother had bad heart). We thought we fixed the problem. He'll be

Im such a mess about my Son leaving ....that Im almost finished putting the Christmas decorations away ....I usually leave my tree till Little Christmas...but I have to clean!!!

Next time.... Romina's Sicilian Artichokes. Hearty, 'one-pot' meal.
Overview: Mix your pork, beef, veal and/or whatever you make your
meatballs with... Make a meatball 'mix' and stuff your artichokes with
it. Don't have to 'brown' fry the meat - put in raw.
Instead of putting the artichokes in the water/oil as we discussed
today, you put them in tomatoe sauce (only time I will say sauce
and NOT GRAVY) It usually is GRAVY IN MY WORLD
Artichokes are somewhat 'submerged' in the sauce. Only tops are
showing.
I'd have to check details re length of cooking, if interested....
Got this recipe from a friend I met in Sicily (Romina) - cute name LOL.
We made a few times - delicious - I've never had anything like it before.
Something different. Good winter meal.

Funny story ....while everyone was eating a home cooked meal....my chinese food delivery guy ....pulled into my driveway ...left the car running and shut the door.....his doors automatically locked......plus his car was smoking .....so while I tried to quietly give him a metal hanger ....and help him break into his car....all my neighbors came out ...to see what was going on.....and they wanted to know who this tall guy was ....in my driveway ....I said he is just delivering something......so now all my neighbors come out ....to help ....and it gets very quiet ....this guys freakin car died out ....I said what was that ????? He said ....great ....I ran out of gas .....!!!!!!!
So, everyone knew I didnt cook that day !!!!!

Yes, the guy biting my neck was Jamsey Oliva,,,, Love him so, but not
my husband.
Vinny and Jacq are beautiful couple. I think it's best that he's with his
girlfriend. I'd think he'd be less likely to get into micheif with her than
with a bunch of guys. I hate all these things I read and see on "20/20"
about people disappearing on cruise ships. Not my favorite thing in life.

you're trying to be low key and all this drama unfolds around you. Thanks

Are you OK now? I know you're upset re the cruise. But focus on the positive about this. You created an independent, sophisticated-traveling,
son. He is going on a vacation and not to rehab. He must work very hard
to be able to pay for this - so he is blessed with skills and a job.
I can go on and on - but I'll stop.... You get my point, said with love.
You are blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren from what I
see. YOU DID SOMETHING RIGHT. Now it's time for Vincent to go out
there and apply all that you've taught him. And the best thing - HE IS
COMING HOME TO YOU AGAIN. And tell you all the wonderful things
about his trip. And you will appreciate him at a whole other level.
As an adult (yet still your little boy)..
