  • I know that I have been a total lame-o and have been absent from the boards for months now, but this is the greatest news I could have heard and makes my return so much sweeter.

    Anyone know when the proposed opening is? Or shall I just press my face up against the window and wait?

    (those are them curvy French things called 'qwassanh" and they go quite well with strong block coffee, morning cigarettes, and pretentious choices in literature.)

    that shit will put you into sugar shock - be careful. I shared a piece with a friend and we were both shaking by the end. best red velvet cake in the city is at a bakery on 139th and 7th avenue in harlem. they top it with dark (bitter!!!) chocolate frosting. omg.
  • you are quite right about sugar shock. i once took 2 days to eat a slice. but what a 2 days.....

    they don't call me sweet tea for nothin'....
