and we certainly don't make fun of freshman and threaten them with wedgies.
...Mougar doesn't count. -
scarlett wrote: It's not! There's no co-ed bathrooms in here, no smoking section nicknamed "cancer corner," no rent-a-cop walking around said corner looking for people smoking more than just ciggies. Wait, Mama, Pitu and Carni do that.
I am guilty of being in the corner hanging out with the ciggies. Carni too.
Has anyone considered SANGRIA! I can make white or red, we'd need a punch bowl or a nice pitcher. Plus someone needs to bring wine, as I'm already committed to way too many things already on this.
Can I wear a pancho? -
This sounds like lotsafun! Unfortunately I will be outta town again! Having not left the city for ages my last and next trip coincide with Brooklynian shenanigans. Bummer.
(....I'm not too upset as I'm going hiking/camping in Utah and then taking the train cross country back to NYC! Can't wait!!) -
Mama- I have a pitcher if anyone wants to bring Sangria stuffs.
Yes you can wear a pancho. -
perhaps i can repair my mexican wedding dress....

do they come freshly made with dip or some appetizer form?
But in truth, I am a step away from using my oven as storage, so that won't likely happen. I can, however, contribute refried beans...eh??
No, they come from a can...but they come from a can I had shipped from southern california!
-
As an aside-
Mexican easter is, traditionally, only partially mexican. We need some blatantly NON-MEXICAN foods... whose bringing eggrolls?! Kosher pickles? Garlic bread?! Takeout fried chicken?!
The point is for everything to be potentially disgusting together.
However I wont turn down mexican food. Carry on.
*also note my oven and stove DO work so we can use them, however it will be hot as shit in my pequeno apartment if we keep it on for a long time.
**also WHYNOT- dude is welcome
-
I promise to bring leftover Matza from passover. http://www.manischewitz.com/products/index.php
for all those interested.
...the wine is both grape syrup and wine!
put it on pancakes! -
Carmen is in charge of fried chicken duty then
-
we'll bring something or other. gotta wait for inspiration to strike.
maybe i can get the little lady to make dolmades. they're safe for the veggie types. -

LOL. Yes. A shame I don't even know when Easter is. I'm a proud heathen. I'll be in AZ with familia. No can do. Have fun! -
Whynot, you know you are not forced to drink that syrupy shit masquerading as wine-- there are plenty of good wines kosher for passoever.

...its tradition. ...not even MY tradition.
So changing it is beyond my power. -
Oh yeah? does your tradition include the bitter herb and skipping most of the pages too? That's how I roll.
-
I'll make a mixed latin CD for the party. Unless Carmen objects??
-
<3 mexican mixtape (latin, whatever.)
I may be able to man fried chicken, although I might make dino shaped processed chicken nuggets just to keep in the ghetto tradition of mexeaster. Or maybe I'll get a 100pack from McDs. Keepin it real, kid. -
Or maybe I'll sent eric to kfc via bike to get a bucket. We'll surprise everyone.
-
I'm a maybe on this. I'm on the outs wit' my moms. But she bitches no matter what happens. I'd rather avoid the live-bitch fest she's undoubtedly planning for me.
-
Ana, ask her to make a video of her bitching. ...tell her you'll watch it later.
-

make sure you get the cheese that comes in a #10 can. ...then pump it on to the tots like at the movie theater. Classy.
P.S. For those of you who never had to work foodservice, a #10 can holds 96 oz . -
Notchos (not - chos)
Natotos (nah - tot - ohs)
Naters (nay - ters)
Tachotots (tay - cho - tots) -
Tater totchos.
-
Clearly we need a poll to vote on the best tater tot / nacho portmanteau.
