Knitting, Winding up Winter — Brooklynian

Knitting, Winding up Winter

Hello Yarnies,

Is It Too Warm To Knit?
I'd say yes. Let's summon Spring by packing the winter wool away. Get some sun on those pasty legs and join us for the last Knit In of the season, don't worry we'll start up again in the Fall. Bring your skeens down for the last Swift and Wind-up of the season on Sunday, April 16 from 5:30 until 8:00 PM.

Yarn Drive
Wanna unload some yarn? If you've had it for more than two years you MUST let it go. Bring your left-over yarn down to Freddy's on Sunday, April 16. That Yarn Guy will be collecting yarn and tools for Midwood and Clara Barton high schools. Sally Struthers might say:
Each year thousands of chidlren go yarnless in Brooklyn. If you could spare a skeen of yarn, a pair of needles or even stitch counter, your contributions could support a child's yarn addiction.

Comments

  • I have plenty of yarn for the yarn drive. I'll be out of town but I'll leave you a bag beforehand. My stash is way too much not to share with the needy, yarn-starved children.
  • Thanks KW, when a little bell rings, a high school kid gets free things.

    Cheers,
    That Yarn Guy
