  • You can get very good locally-produced lard at the GAP green market.
  • Flying Pigs? Or the farmers from around New Paltz (can't remember their names).
  • Flying Pigs sometimes has leaf lard, and regular lard.
    The Park Slope Food Coop has it too - organic sustainable, etc .

    Whatever you do, pleae don't buy the shelf-stable Hormel lard in a box. It's hydrogenated for some reason, and non-hydrogenation is one of he things that real lard has going for it.
