  • Oh, fuck! loved him.

    Pretty in Pink
    Planes, Trains and Automobiles (Rupert!)
    Some Kind of Wonderful
    Sixteen Candles

    My whole teenage experience!

I haven't seen that news anywhere else yet...surprising, because he also did Home Alone and so many other big hits
  • It's on TMZ now.

    Ferris Bueller! Bueller? Bueller? Bueller???

Yeah, no Ingmar Bergman, but an astonishing number of very entertaining movies in a period of 5 or 6 years. Ferris Bueller's Day Off....
  • I think Steinhof needs to make this their September movie theme

Agreed. Starting with Vacation (Screenplay - 1983).
  • I have seen Planes, Trains & Automobiles a zillion times and it never fails to make me laugh. Steve Martin is so good at bubbling anger (like John Cleese) and John Candy is great at playing a lovable schlub.
  • The Day the 80's Died
  • waaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!:cry::cry: i honestly have no idea what my life would have been like if this man had never existed.
  • I'm so saddened. His movies perfectly captured teenage angst, MY teenage angst. They continue to capture my adult angst. So glad that he enriched my life.
