I see no strong emotions there, only an average brooklynite(new yorker) with average interests. I can assume that you were probably an idealistic fella 10-15 years ago but lost it somewhere between your politically correct "daily routines" and your afternoon coffee breaks. You just want to GET ALONG with everybody, you belive in the inherent goodness of all beings, and you call your parents once a week(month, year, millenium) Yet it is not enough to make the difference, especially when you are dealing with crime. YOU MUST BE AGGRESSIVE! It is the only way. If you can't fight THEM then you must "aggressively avoid" THEM. I know, "all human beings are inherently good" but "inherently" is the key word here, it means that they have it HIDDEN somewhere, beyond the outer layer of anger, jealousy and anxiety. Some may appear "normal", even perfect but it is just an illusion, just like a wax apple in that window display.Some people are inherently ...lost, they lost their sanity even before they were born, they were destined to ...yet they struggle with their 'bad destiny' and manage to keep IT hidden from society. They grow up, go to college/get a job/get fired/get a job again and become 'good average dudes' by the time they are 40 years old. We are not talking about them, we are talking about people who are "not yet there", people who are willing to rob, rape and steal. This is REALITY! Fear mongering or not, just look at the statistics - the numbers are there for you. We will not turn it into a racial discussion but...........we can't deny the ugly truth. We all know that there are more racist blacks in New York than racist whites, try to go to Jamaica, Queens, and you will get STARES all day long, they clearly show you that you are not welcomed there.You stay on the surface of issues and i can't blame you for that, but remember, if there would be a natural disaster of some sort, guess who's gonna get robbed first? Which neighborhood? Will THEY come to you? Or will you rob them first? Answer me! Can You? That's what i thought!
Any discussion about safety in New York is INCOMPLETE if you don't mention the areas to avoid and the predominant skin color their inhabitants :evil: :shock:



I'm sorry, but copilot7777, you have had the most consistently nearsighted, paranoid, but worst of all, shocking and unabashedly racist comments I have read in a while. I don't know where you get all of your facts, or how your living situation growing up formed these very sickening opinions of yours, but these disgusting blanket statements you are making about ENTIRE RACES OF PEOPLE are so incredibly out of line. I do not even want to know how you would react were somebody of a race different than yours to make such sweeping and harsh generalizations about you SOLELY because of the color of your skin.
