No, not THAT farmer's market

I went there last year, and the only booths were a pickle monger and a purveyor of baked goods. Not very exciting,but the pickles were good.

Have been reading your comments, and I promise you a much improved 5th Avenue Farmers' Market for 2006. Rather than the "two" vendors we had last year, this year we have 9:
1) Alex's Tomato farm - selling veggies/produce
2) Bombay Emerald Chtuney Co. selling chutneys and toppings
3) Bread Alone - Dan Leader's awesome bread and baked goods
4) Columbia/Dutchess Meat Co-op - all natural meat and poultry
5) Dr. Pickle
6) Hector Perez/alex farm- produce, fruit, berries
7) Nolasco Farm - specalizes in Latin-American produce
8) Paisley Upstate Farm (coming in July) organic produce
9) Pastries by Peggy - scones, cookies, sweet pastries

Nope, we're not as enormous as the Grand Army Plaza market, but we're small and neighborhoody. Also we're on Sundays and geared towards the southern and eastern slope. Hope you'll come out and visit!
