    From an earlier post:

"Junior's owner says he took immediate action when he was made aware of the problem, calling it an isolated incident.

Earlier this week, health inspectors found evidence of mice in non-food areas and issued several violations. "

The owner admitted it was his place, and the health inspector found evidence of mice. I'd call that evidence.

(This is all aside from the fact that anyone who has ever been to Juniors can recognize the window in those photos.)
  • Pretty revolting, but I'm just not shocked anymore about what goes on at even the best/most expensive restaurants. There are a lot of lazy gormless bastards in the world who don't clean.
  • Why is this a global post?
  • We have mice. Got two in the glue this morning. It was awful.

    :elephant:
  • Darn near everyone in the Slope has mice this time of year, when they come in out of the cold. The brownstones are riddled with holes.

Years ago, when my kids were small, one of our gerbils somehow chewed its way out of one of those extremely thick plastic Habitrail cages. For several days we heard it scritching its way through mouse tunnels throughout our house.

My daughter was heartbroken, although I tried (fruitlessly) to explain that the gerbil had achieved rodent nirvana... freedom to explore to its little heart's content...

Now, at 32, she no longer bothers with gerbils or dwarf hamsters (which came later). She's moved on to flying squirrels. http://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18153
  • I remember once about 2 years ago I went into Burger King in downtown Brooklyn to get a bottle or some juice(I would never actually eat food from one of these places you understand?)........anyway I opened the door and a rat the size of a football scurried by,right in the front area.........and people were still sitting down just chomping their food like nothing was happening,I thought to myself if the rats are getting down like that in open view, god only knows what is happening behind the scenes,I couldn't get out of their fast enough!! By the way that BK is the most jacked up internally and externally i've ever seen, suffice it to say that downtown Brooklyn is a no go area as far as eats,so this Junior's footage does not surprise me.In fact there are only about 3 or 4 places in the whole of New York, other than my apt, where I would actually eat.
