neighborhood recipe's on here. LOL .We once
discussed putting a cook book of these
recipe's togethor and I still think its a great
idea, especially if the proceeds were donated
to a charity or The American Cancer Society.
I'm not under estimating the amount of work it
would take, just some FOOD for thought.
Maybe a few old photo's of the neighborhood or
some pic's of the original recipe owners, Mom,
Dad, Grandma etc. Even some new/old recipe's
and photo's from some of us, LOL.
I'm just curious Mike, why did my post annoy
you at first? Did ya think I was asking everyone
not to give them to you personally, LOL I thought I was pretty clear in my response here that what annoyed me was "a big deal would be made over sharing some simple recipes." After reading your post all the way through *I* came to the conclusion that there MIGHT be someone out there lookin to make money off these recipes, so I removed the RECIPE!! thread. I can only speak for myself and what my intentions are...I would like an escarole and bean recipe to go with the broccoli rabe recipe that Festina ANGELINA was so kind to share with not only me but the entire blog. As far as anyone lookin to make money off using these recipes in a cookbook? Thats on them. As far as you or anyone else being able to make this happen and donating the money to charity? More power to ya. As for me? I'm goin to re-post my Chicken Marsala recipe (using Colombo marsala wine imported from Italy) and let it ride. And no...I dont own shares or have a vested interest in Colombo marsala wine...it's just SOOOOO good...try it and see for yourself. After reading your post, Paul... I felt the need to "cleanse" myself of this whole thing. Hi Festina ANGELINA. I DO love that name but i AM biased. P.S. I think I found someone to make the broccoli rabe for me and she told me of a few other recipes that might end up on that RECIPE!! thread...wish me luck.

I went and bought the broccoli rabe yesterday ...because Iam
craving it from that picture at Carol Miele's house!
I wanted the recipe now...and I really cant wait for a book to be
published ... and I can see what Paul is saying ....if we put it
on here ....a behind the scenes reader ....can make big bucks
on us ...if we freely post it on here!
So, with that .....if someone wants to share amongst us .... just
send them a pm or email .....I think that would be nice! -
