Yes I am, Carnivore; nice detective work! That has never before been anyone's deduction. Not that I am given to playing "guess the source of lnelson's bizarre 'allergies'," but people do wonder what fava beans, red wine and liver have in common with each other (besides being Hannibal Lecter's favorite meal).

I know MAOI's are arcane, but they work like magic!

(And for anyone that's interested, it's not about bacteria, it's about the presence of a molecule called tyramine, which is structurally similar to dopamine, except that when dopamine builds up you get happy, while when tyramine builds up your blood pressure rises and eventually you have a cerebral hemorrhage.)
