Here's a rare opportunity to invest in this well developed, 3 family, brick property before the "bidding" starts. Located in trendy Park Slope North (Prospect Heights), it features 4 BR units (12 total!!), 2 baths per unit, full basement, and new everything (appliances, wood floors, fresh walls, light fixtures, bath fixtures, windows, plumbing, electrical wiring, and 1 year guaranty). This property is still being worked, but is only months away from being complete. View this property, be assertive, and make it yours.

  • Funny how they don't show the All-Star bodega next door.

    And "months from completion"?
    Hah!
I guess you can measure any length of time in months if you want to, but that thing is barely a skeleton right now!

hilarious... this cinder block eyesore has been sitting like this for many months. i think the hideous green windows were added recently. i get the feeling the builders only work on it when they have money. this place has been in the works for almost a year.
  • what's that place they're building right in front of the library at GAP?

it's like 4-5 stories right now. and the 1st two floors are covered in an orange tape :?:

That's the Meier building, discussed previously here:
    http://brooklynian.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2436&highlight=meier

That thing has gone up so quickly, it's scary. The five floors above ground level have gone up over a matter of weeks!

Yes, yes it is. As evidenced by this guy who started ranting to me when I told him to stop repeatedly asking to be my friend on myspace:

"Im only 21 and i co-own a promotional company, have a 3.8 gpa at Fordham university and make more money than u could even imagine, yet i have no personality? save the insults for u and ur "artists, musicians and intelligent hip people" cause u ppl will be broke ur whole life...they are ruining nyc more than i am b/c they are on the streets begging for money...anyway think before you speak because you do not know shit...do not bother writing back"

    Apparently money=personality??

Eh, he's most likely lying - about the money, that is. The GPA is plausible enough.

Hey now, I own a promotional company!

What do I promote, you may ask? Myself!

Genius, eh? Well, moreso than Mr. 3.8 Forham MySpace dude.. ;)

Weasel. Nothing wrong with owning a company, but some people think there's nothing more important than money. At least take pride in spelling out the word "you" when write something. Jeez. :P
  • Some real estate agent...doesn't even know where the house is. That's between Prospect and St Marks, more than a block away from Park Place.

It just smelled like the pathetic, "OK, I know now that I'll never be meeting you, so I'm going to make a couple grandiose claims about myself in an attempt to salvage some feeling of victory from this affair. See? See what you're missing?"

Amusing, though, so I'm glad you shared his parting shot.

I waslked by the building in question about a half hour ago... those squat little windows really ARE ugly... If you're building from scratch, why not at least put in some tall windows?!
  • What a bunch of crap.

Might as well go the trite acronym route and call it ProPaCro or some shit.
