  • 2 funny .....I remember those days.....when Janelle and Vinny were
both home for a week from school....I wish they were that small
    again!

I have to tell this quick (MEN) story

I sent Vinny (my 27yo son) food shopping for us the other night
I gave him a list (the sign of the cross)
we just feel like having homemade chicken soup

    1 package soup greens
    1 package carrots
    1 Perdue cut-up chicken parts

He called me (4x) to describe what soup greens look like
    he finally finds it
    comes home .....
    I ask, "where's the chicken?"
    he said, "right here!"

Perdue ready to eat cut up chicken pieces for wraps

Nicole wants me to just cook the stuff without the chicken (poor kid)

Hi Jeanette ....if you come on soon!

  • Thanks AL .....you really are a nice guy!
  • Im sure everyone on here is gonna enjoy that song!

love ya & thanks for sharing.....
  • Suzie, you're so right...I absolutely loved this song! It brought back some wonderful and bittersweet memories for me. Al, I remember seeing Jeff Beck (at the Garden) sometime in the late 70's...I believe he was solo and promoting his "Wired" album and I was at the Garden in the lmid-late 70's, too, for an Eric Clapton concert (one of my fav albums of his was "EC was here")....but the two of them...together...is outrageous.
I love the song "Moon River"... my father would play the "Andy Williams" song every Sunday morning and sing along with the record.
Thanks for the wonderful memories, Al!
But I do have one question - what the heck is a "huckleberry friend"?
  • Hi Zachriel ....I literally played it 3x already.....I think it brought
me back to my Mom & Dad watching Andy Williams all the time
    together! Bittersweet.....

Im not sure but, I think a "Huckleberry friend" is someone
you Love Berry Berry Much! :flower:
  • Thanks AL for clearing up my sinuses from crying....(wink)
  • Enjoy your weekend Zachriel....nice to see you again!

I have to try and wash some clothes.....be back lata!
