Area is so-so, not the best, but not the worst,either (e.g. Brownsville, Ocean Hill, ENY, etc.). The 2/5 Winthrop stop is very deserted at night and has no token booth on the southbound side, so be wary, especially if you're in the rear of the train, which is far from the lone exit. Q Parkside is more lively.
