Where can I find a theatre for a movie theatre snob?

But that theatre sucks. I mean if this person is looking for big screens and stadium seating.
The Pavillion on PPW also has matinees, and it's walking distance.
i wish they upgrade it. they could so easily get the money for it and think about the huge crowds they could get. they have a great location. -

True for the most part. One of their screens isn't bad. -

A lot of their top run type things they show in Theatre 3, which I think is the nicest - it's very steeply sloped, has a big screen, and is just a really nice looking room. Little Miss Sunshine is playing in that theatre now, methinks.
that particular screen/theatre is so sweet. it's in this grand old classical room. i love it. -

I was so excited to see a matinee price. I thought that practice was long gone.
We saw Talladega Nights. (loved it) -
The Ziegfeld is absolutely beautiful!!!! I saw Tristan and Isolde there. You must check out the ladies rooms. Gorgeous!
That newish theater on Court street is very nice, also. Huge screens, stadium seating, this theater would fit in nicely in Manhattan.

The UA Court St is reasonable from a quality of screens/sound perspective. But not if you care about quality of service, maintenance or audience. Be prepared for floors sticky with spilled soda, crying kids brought into rated R movies, popcorn strewn everywhere, cell phones ringing (and people talking on them), surly attendants...you get the idea. Other than all that it's fine.

I'm telling you people - the AM matinee on the weekends - cheap and empty. no one is there. it's perfect. -

I saw Pirates of the Carribbean there, and I had no problems. We didn't get there early enough, so our seats weren't as good as they could have been. The floors were a little sticky, but that could happen in any theater. The service was perfectly fine, in my opinion. (Buy your tickets online and then you don't have to wait on the insanely long lines at the theater.)
