If its just doorbell, you can a cheap wireless one at a hardware store or home depot...probably a lot cheaper than repairing a wired doorbell. If it has a door release function, it might be tougher to replace wirelessly.

We've had several brands of the wireless one and they are very unreliable, at least for us. Our button is completely outside and seems pretty sensitive to water/humidity and just doesn't work about 1/2 the time (luckily we have a "dog bell" that is more reliable--he barks when someone is near the door. We're going to wired when we have an electrician and handman here to do other things.

Go with Antonio Ceriello Electric Inc (718) 797-3757. A bit pricey, sometimes a bit slow, but they get the job done and do it well.
