    Now that I know all the retarded jackasses on this thread are no longer customers of Royale, it should be a much more pleasant place. The reason they were getting visits from cops was because of the bigots who thought they owned the place getting in the face people looking to have a good time (ie young black thugs). I wish more young black folks would move into Park Slope and push out the pansy ass white people. All you racist bigots who can't afford the upper west side should find someplace else to live. This is brooklyn, not nazi-germany.

    I went Friday (2/16) night and it was lovely. A mixed crowd and an older group of patrons having a party in the back.

    Where do all these "Midwest" comments come from, exactly? I was born and lived in Wisconsin for my first 27 years of life(lived here in Brooklyn for the past 6 years) and the whitest, least diverse place I've ever lived so far has been Park Slope.

    As for the Royale, was there twice under the old management and didn't really like it. I wasn't aware it had changed hands so I guess I'll give it another try.

    That being said, Barndorfer, don't mis-quote me. That that you have attributed to me is a response from some anonymous troll.

    Frankly, I couldn't give a rat's ass about the bar, or who goes there. I just don't like people crediting me for things I didn't say.
