  • Well, I spoke to Calvan yesterday and it's official. He's keeping the girls!
He said Trixie is coming out more and he hears them playing upstairs. Romping around and running up and down the stairs. Trixie will run and hide when he goes in but comes back out as if to say, "I knew it was you!". I'm going over on Thursday to finalize the adoption. Thank you Q for helping Alice and Trixie when they needed it most. Thank you Slope Street Cats for everything and thank you all for your support. We did it!
  • Yay! I knew he couldn't resist those beauties once he spent time with them. Great job to everybody involved!

That is some most excellent news!!
What lucky girls to have a friend like you to be there for them.
Some day when it's your time to go to heaven (and you will...) you're going to start your journey and be met by every animal you've ever known, who will be overjoyed to see you once again.
And isn't that the real heaven anyway??

I once got detention in catechism at 8 years old because I disagreed with a Nun that animals go to heaven. She said they didn't have souls and didn't belong there. Imagine thinking they don't have souls???

Anyhow, congratulations for finding great homes for the girls. :D
  • Congrats and great work!!
  • As a kid, I remember thinking that if heaven didn't allow animals then it was no place I wanted to be. I can't wait to see the girls on Thursday, I'll let you guys know how they're doing. :)

  • That is adorable! I can't get my dogs to remember not to bark at my neighbors.
