When you add Dragon to Scorpio and mix well to blend, the batter thickens. Scorpio lends mystery and ruthlessness to an already plucky and boastful Dragon nature. Add a dash of swagger and some good old Scorpio vengeance and jealousy and you will concoct yourself a mighty baroque human being. This dish is spicy and copious.
    …
This person is ambitious… They want to get places in life. They are combative and charming.
    …
The Scorpio born Dragon has a hard time with moderation. He is drawn to excess and self-indulgence and has a tough time resisting the dissipation of his or her talents… The Scorpio/Dragon may seem invincible, but he’s still a Dragon and he’s sentimental. Deep down he weeps over stories about lost dogs.
Like cute little foster pit bulls, perchance?

apollonia. hook a brother up. please!
    i'm a sagittarius. nov. 28.
Hey Quijibo, I need to know what your Chinese sign is too - if you don't know I can look it up for you if you tell me the year.
    horse {natch' }. 1966
  • Okay... Quijibo -- Sagittarius/Horse:
Sagittarius/Horses are never tired... These people work until they drop.
    ...
The Horse born in Sagittarius wants to be the star of his or her own life. They are not particularly attracted to worldly celebrity, but rather forge ahead for the purpose of gaining self-respect through their success.
    ...
The Sagittarius/Horse may be marginal to some. He or she sometimes has outrageous notions. Thing is, their type of nonconformity is only strange and outlandish insofar as it reflects off something more traditional. Hence the Sagittarius/Horse may seem weird and unusual sometimes, but his style of weirdness is dependent on the contrast to society's humdrum.
I'm curious to hear whether you guys think there's anything particularly dead-on or particularly off-base about these!

Kindness and bite combine in the Virgo/Dog character... Virgo/Dogs may try to hide their vulnerabilty under a cloak of sophistication and worldliness. But beneath the veneer is a surface as sensitive and soft as the purest down.
Okay, really now... I've always thought the writing in this book was pretty charming, but that last sentence is bringing out my inner grammar bitch. A surface BENEATH THE VENEER?! Um, what?
Virgo/Dogs are reliable people. They believe in righteousness and practice good works... They may not always be smiley. But they are ever obliging, willing to lend a hand and serious about their responsibilities.

Underhanded or slightly batty schemes don't appeal to them. They watch every penny, but they are remarkably generous too. Virgo/Dogs take care of their own, and then some.

Whatever they do, you can be sure it is in good faith, although you have to keep an eye on their overly naive attempts at righting wrongs too wrong ever to be retrievable. Sign their petition. They mean no harm.
  • hey, thanks! that was sweet!

and yeah, that seems to be me, both the good and the bad.

now sign my petition! i mean well! HAHA

well... how can i argue with "attractive"?! both of mine seem kind of right on, the good with the bad. it's weird b/c even though i am on the cusp, both sag. & cap always seem to suit me.
  • apollonia666 wrote: I'm curious to hear whether you guys think there's anything particularly dead-on or particularly off-base about these!
well, I AM a nester, and I do love to take care of people. the problem is I'm also a lazy, depressed alcoholic so I'm not particularly good at taking care of myself/my surroundings. when I've got some help on that end, like a cleaning lady, I do tend to have lots of dinner parties and stuff. and I love taking care of people's lives for them - pet sitting, mail pickup, etc.
  • well, i'm a sagittarius horse, and i DO tend to get obsessive about my work. but the thing about nonconformity being only not conforming to the norm sorta sounds like the definition of non-conformity, so that distinction's a bit lost on me.

can't say whether my notions are outrageous. they don't seem all that outrageous to me, but if they did, they wouldn't be my notions, i suppose.

and while i do want success for my own, affirmation-needing reasons, i have no beef with fame...
  • Me, please! Sheep/Taurus :D
  • Flexichick wrote: Me, please! Sheep/Taurus :D
Okay, according to Wikipedia, the sheep is the same year as goat (which is what's listed in my book instead):
This person is, by turns, a taciturn pixie, an industrious flitwit and a brilliant dreamer... If properly handled, this inner spark of enormous creative ability can take them far in both worldly and personal development. But without optimum growing conditions this subject will spend his or her life seeming to putter about, half-finishing projects and partly realizing dreams...

Essentially, the Taurus/Goat struggles his whole life long with conflicting yet in some ways harmonious influences. The Taurus character is slow but sure... but the Goat nature is evanescent, shifting and spasmodic. Goats excel by fits and starts.
    ...
Taurus/Goats are viscerally attracted to what is beautiful... Normally the Taurus/Goat builds and creates and invents and interprets and decorates... they lack drive and anger easily.... Taurus/Goats are either peaceful or else they are out there swinging.

I'll try to get to it when I'm home tonight, Drano -- if you promise never to use the phrase "Dog/Virgo action" ever again.
  • wait.. you did Dog/Virgo already. that was me! nice to see there are two of us. just scroll up, Drano, and you'll see the info eventually

    Ah! Thanks for catching that.
  • Duhhhh...how did I miss it? I swear I wasn't being lazy, I thought I read the whole thread.

    Sorry and thanks.
  • I have a cute little Chinese Horoscopes Library book that seems quite accurate ... I'm a Rooster, and born in the Rooster Hour (5-7pm) to boot. This book calls my year a Lonely Rooster year, but I usually see that year called Fire Rooster. And I'm a Sag, which is a fire sign ...

Unlike the usual depiction of Sags, however, I am allergic to any kind of sports-like activity.

So, I guess that makes you just an "athletic supporter"?:lol::lol:

Nah, I'm afraid I don't even do that. I don't hold with this whole sports business any more, really ... but I did like the Detroit Tigers (and the Red Wings) when I was a kid. Al Kaline! Mickey Lolich! Denny McLean! I still miss the sound of Ernie Harwell's voice on a hot summer day.
