beso closed for good

They own the building, we are told, and they are the ones that will be renting the space. As we noted yesterday, the adjacent Associated supermarket is likely to take over both the Beso space and the coffee shop next door, according to our source. Our source notes that the Beso owners are looking into opening another eatery, perhaps a Mexican restaurant in Prospect Heights.

You know, I never wanted to even check out that restaurant because the thought of eating right in front of the bus stop, with all it's noise/smog/traffic, just never seemed appealing. The view and smells turned me off.

It's interesting that Associated will take over the block. I feel bad for the little coffee shop. Is that the one with the donuts in the window? If so, I liked that place! It was cheap and old school.

I hope you're wrong about the coffee shop - that place rocks.

As for Beso, they can go to hell in a handbasket.

You'd better hurry - it closes round three!

This is very sad news to me. I was only there once, but found their Yuca hash browns to die for.

This is the space where I might be thanking you for a kind an insightful post. Instead, I would advise you to check the board's rules, and consider what your purpose here is. There are better ways to get your point across.
