I've already stated that I choose my Avatars because I find them fun. Moreover, I have a right to use whatever Avatar I like, as long as it doesn't violate the forum's policies - my Avatars do not. If any of you are so invested in my choice Avatar that you feel the need to call me a cunt - you need to take a good look at yourselves. In my book, the word cunt is more offensive than seeing a tasteful nude Avatar pic.

What, you need me to quote the entire thread above this to you? What I'm saying is that it's not at ALL a settled fact that the original avatar was what you're choosing to call a "tasteful nude" just because you're trying to pass it off as that. And while the discussion has for the most part moved on to the additional avatars you've used since then, which several people feel were purposefully intended to provoke and offend, that doesn't mean that it's okay for you to respond to remarks about the original avatar with a personal attack like you just did.

Caahyoko, its a naked woman crawling on all fours wearing a pair of black stilettoes and nothing else. Her head is cropped. You don't see any of her female parts, just a bit of breast from the side but no nipple. Some peopel were very very upset by it. Several male members PM'd me to say it was hot and ask if it was me or not. I can send it to you if you want. I don't want to upset you though.

It's interesting to me that though you find mypass.... av offensive you have no problem using four letter words to amplify your opinion. If I said that your use of foul language offended me would you stop typing those types of words?

I have no idea what you're talking about in terms of people being called names. I am talking about potter's saying "fuck me boots". As far as me asking anyone to relent on use of foul language or naked avs, I was being sarcastic. Too be honest I could care less. It just strikes me as hypocritical for someone to condemn an av of all things through use of four letter words. I didn't say that Potter or anyone else didn't have the right to criticize an av or a post or whatever. I never suggested it. Anyone has a right to say anything they want. This is America after all. All I suggest is that if the enforcement or lack of enforcement or over enforcement of rules on any internet board upsets someone this much then that someone should start their own board where they can moderate and allow and dis-allow items to their heart's content. And like all suggestions and advice, it can be taken or ignored.

If you're not supposed to be web surfing on the boss' time and you're caught because a nudie av is spotted on your screen and you're either reprimanded or fired for it, then tough titties. Okay, say my boss walks into my cubicle while I'm on Brooklynian. I really doubt he's going to notice the word "fuck" buried in a post, but I think it's fairly likely that he would notice a porny avatar. Same thing with a kid who walks up while you're online -- WAY more likely the kid's going to notice an image before he or she will notice a curse word in a post. Sorry, I just don't think the two are the same at all.
