Paper recycling hero
Just wanted to say THANK YOU to the guy with spotted dog and messenger bag who subtly untied the transparent garbage bags in which I had put my papers and books for the recycling truck today. My hero gently went through all my stuff and took out books he liked, even those in a language I'm 99% sure he would not understand. Then he tied down the bags again, put the bags back where he found them and proceeded on his way, happily, I guess.
This is recycling in it's truest form, and I wish others would take this as an example.

Instead of throwing away about 20 used but clean moving book boxes, I was very pleased that someone came and picked them up for reuse after I had posted them on Craigs List. In about an hour. Recycling is great!

Were you the one who just took things out of storage?

Nope, just cleaned out the cellar.
Howdy, Stranger!
